Mille - feuille
Mille - feuille

The decadent mille feuille, (literally translated as a thousand leaves), is one of the most delicious and popular products at Maison Coco. Mille feuille is sweet but not overly sweet, composed of several layers but not overly crowded, light but at the same time rich. Despite its great popularity, little is known about the origins of this dessert. It was first mentioned in Marie-Antoine Careme's cookbook in 1700, and was poetically called the cake of a thousand leaves. Made of three layers of thin sheets of puff pastry with vanilla cream in between and dusted with powdered sugar, it is a recognizable treat that few people can resist. It's yours for only 1,460 points.
